Q: What is an FFL, or Federal Firearms License?
A: A Federal Firearms License is a license granted by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms to business that allows them to purchase approved firearms for resale purposes.
Q: How do I buy ammunition from Florida Armory Gun Shop?
A: You must be at least 18 years old for rifle ammunition and 21 years old for pistol ammunition and have no felony convictions. You must also have a copy of your Federal Firearms License, C&R License or a State issued ID or Driver’s License on file, along with our Ammunition Purchase Waiver Form and any other required State or Local license(s) on file with us before the order can ship. All first time ammunition customers who do not have a Federal Firearms License or a C&R License on file, MUST, submit their State issued ID/Driver’s License along with the Ammunition Purchase Waiver Form by email, mail or fax for age verification. This must be completed as soon as the order is placed. No order will be processed until the necessary documents are received. If your State of residence requires a separate state issued license to purchase ammunition, then a copy of the state issued license(s) must be e-mailed or mailed along with the above said materials before an order for ammunition will be processed.
Q: How do I purchase a Firearm from Florida Armory Gun Shop?
A: You must be at least 21 years old and have never been convicted of a felony. You do not have to be a Licensed Dealer (FFL holder) or a C&R holder to buy a firearm. If you are not a Licensed Dealer or C&R holder, you must make arrangements with an FFL holder in your state to receive the item and transfer it to you. A fee is normally charged to the buyer by the FFL holder for the transfer (Note to C&R holders: if you are a C&R holder, we can ship C&R firearms directly to you upon receipt of an inked signed copy of your C&R License via mail or a scanned signed copy via email. By contacting the FFL holder before purchasing a firearm, the buyer can verify that all state and federal laws will be observed. Please be aware that you will be required to complete paperwork & pass a background check, before your local dealer can transfer the purchased firearm to you.

A: When mailing, faxing or emailing Florida Armory Gun Shop, please include your customer information. Reference your FFL or C&R that is on file, first and last name, address, invoice number, date of purchase, type of product purchased and email address you used for your purchase.
Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: After an order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to follow your order.
Q: Will Florida Armory Gun Shop do “special orders” for customers?
A: YES, we will “special order” any item for you. Please note that all “special order” items must be paid for in advance and have a no-return policy on them.
Q: How do I know if I am complying with my Local and State laws?
A: This is a very good question. YOU must know that your purchase will not violate any of your local or state laws. Asking the right people the right questions and research is the best answer. Contact your State Attorney General’s office, check their website, get in touch with your local Department of Law Enforcement, etc. Remember, Ignorance in not an excuse.
Q: What is a “Dealer Transfer”?
A: A Dealer Transfer takes place when a “01” Federally Licensed Firearms dealer transfers a firearm to a Non-FFL Holder or consumer. If you are a consumer desiring to purchase a firearm from Florida Armory Gun Shop, you must first locate a dealer in your area, who is willing to order/transfer the firearm to you. All fees for the transfer must be negotiated by you with the transferring dealer. You must have the permission from the dealer before placing an order to be shipped to the FFL dealer for transfer of the firearm(s). All firearms ordered for Dealer Transfer must be shipped to the dealer’s licensed premise address.
Q: Will FloridaGun Shop do a “Dealer Transfer”?
A: YES, for a fee of $59.99 or 10% of the value of the weapon, whichever is greater, we will handle a dealer transfer for you.
Q: May I pick up my order?
A: Yes, you may pick-up your order at the store during business hours. Make sure that you call ahead to confirm that the order is ready for pick-up.
Q: Will you ship Internationally?
A: No. Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally. We apologize for this inconvenience.
